Included in the three main causes of maternal death. Preeclampsia is a complication in pregnancy which is characterized by hypertension and protein in the urine. this study aims to determine the relationship between MAP examination and urine protein examination with hypertension in third-trimester pregnant women at Prima Husada Hospital. This research method is a cross-sectional analytic observation with a sample of 30 pregnant women. MAP is obtained by measuring maternal blood pressure then calculated with the formula to find out the results. Whereas urine protein is obtained by using dipstick. Test analysis with Chi-Square. from 30 respondents found 60% positive on MAP examination and 80% positive contained protein in his urine. The results of the analysis of the relationship between MAP and hypertension obtained p=0,000 (<0.005). On examination of urine protein with hypertension, p=0.272 (> 0.005) was obtained. there is a relationship between MAP examination with hypertension and there is no relationship between urine protein and hypertension. It is expected that pregnant women routinely check pregnancy at least 4 times during pregnancy and midwives conduct early detection of preeclampsia to prevent complications in the mother and fetus
2025-04-15T06:24:12+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/281 Motivation of Mothers Who Have Toddlers to Come to The Posyandu to Monitor Children's Growth and Development Using The Motivation for Health Behavior Scale (MHBS) 2025-05-06T00:06:15+00:00 Rochmawati Rochmawati ramadhan.rochmawati@gmail.com
This study aims to measure mothers' motivation in bringing toddlers to Posyandu using the Motivation for Health Behavior Scale (MHBS), analyze the relationship between sociodemographic factors and mothers' motivation, and assess the relationship between motivation levels and Posyandu visit frequency. Using a cross-sectional design, the study involved 76 mothers with toddlers in Ciseeng District, Bogor Regency. Results showed that autonomous motivation had the highest mean (3.86±0.74), with education and family support significantly correlating with autonomous motivation (r=0.412; p=0.007 and r=0.388; p=0.008). Autonomous motivation significantly correlated with regular Posyandu visits (χ²=9.647; p=0.002). Interventions should focus on strengthening internal motivation to increase Posyandu participation.
2025-04-15T06:47:11+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/284 The Effectiveness of Audio-Visual Educational Media on Premenopausal Women's Knowledge 2025-05-06T00:07:20+00:00 Paskalina Wopairi paskalinawopairi@gmail.com
Health education using audio-visual media can increase premenopausal women's knowledge and participation about the signs and symptoms of premenopause and how to deal with them. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual educational media in increasing knowledge about menopause at the Nikiwar Community Health Center. The type of research is quasi experimental research, namely research that tests interventions on a group of subjects, with a research design using a one group pre test-post test design. The sample in this study was women over 40 years of age who showed or had experienced symptoms of menopause and the intervention given was video media about menopause for 7 days. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that the average value of respondents' knowledge increased after being given video media intervention and based on the results of statistical tests it was found that the p-value of respondents' knowledge before and after treatment was 0.00. The conclusion is that there is audiovisual educational media that is effective in increasing mothers' knowledge before and after being given audiovisual media at the Nikiwar Community Health Center.
2025-04-15T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/285 Comparison Between Democratic and Authoritarian Parenting Styles of Sibling Rivalry in Children Aged 3-5 Years 2025-05-06T00:08:12+00:00 Dehilda Yomaki dehildayomaki@gmail.com
Parenting is a procedure applied by parents in caring for, protecting and educating their children. Children's health is one of the SDG targets, namely ending infant and toddler mortality. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using image media in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding HB-0 immunization at the Kuriwamesa Community Health Center. The type of research is quasi experimental research, namely research that tests interventions on a group of subjects, with a research design using a one group pre test-post test design using the Manwednewy analysis technique. The results of the research show that the level of knowledge of pregnant women regarding giving HB-0 is valuable. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that the p-value results before and after treatment were 0.00, which means there is a difference, while the attitude has no value with the results of statistical tests, the p-value is 0.095. which means there is no difference, this is because there is a trigger, namely the characteristics of the mother's education with a constant p-value of 0.04, which means that education can influence a person's attitude.
2025-04-17T00:44:37+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
