The aim of this research is to determine the effect of video media on mothers' knowledge about giving MP-ASI to babies aged 6-12 months at the Roswar Community Health Center. The type of research is quasi experimental research, namely research that tests interventions on a group of subjects, with a research design using a one group pre test-post test design. This research was carried out by providing video media with a frequency of giving once with a duration of 5-10 minutes, then the data will be analyzed using a non-parametric test using the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that the average value of maternal knowledge increased after being given video media intervention and based on the results of statistical tests it was found that the p-value of maternal knowledge before and after treatment was 0.00. The conclusion is that there is a difference in mothers' knowledge about giving MP-ASI to babies aged 6-12 months before and after being given video media at the Roswar Community Health Center.
Yolanda Kaimarehe ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/273 Fri, 02 Feb 2024 10:53:51 +0000 The Relationship Of Husband's Support And Exposure To Information Regarding The Use Of Intracinal Contraceptive Devices (IUD) https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/222
Indonesia is a country with the 4th largest population in the world with a population growth rate of 1.49% per year. The Health Profile of Papua Province shows that IUD contraceptive users are still low (0.93%). This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support and information exposure to the use of intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD). This study used a cross sectional design. The research sample of 81 respondents were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection instrument using a questionnaire. The results showed that there was a relationship between husband's support and IUD information exposure to IUD use at the Sentani Health Center. Husband's involvement needs to be increased to support mother's decision making in family planning. Access to information regarding family planning should not be limited to mothers as potential acceptors, but also conveyed to the husband.
Mirna Wigunarti ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/222 Fri, 02 Feb 2024 11:06:02 +0000 Analysis Of Factors Related To Post Partum Bleeding To The Inpartum https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/215
According to the World Health Organization hemorrhage occupies the highest percentage in causing the maternal death (28%), preeclampsia/eclampsia (24%), infection (11%), while indirect causes are obstetric trauma 5% and others (11%). The aim of this study was to determine the related factors of post partum hemorrhage in maternity at Pratama Clinic Ridho . The research design used in this study is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The populations in this study were 54 mothers who experienced post partum hemorrhage. The sampling in this study using the total sampling as many as 54 people. The research location was at Pratama Clinic Ridho. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between age factor (p_value = 0.004), parity factor (p_value = 0.001), birth spacing factor (p_value = 0.002) with post partum hemorrhage in maternity at Pratama Clinic Ridho. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship between life, parity and space of birth with postpartum hemorrhage in maternity. It is suggested to the health workers to always provide information and counseling to pregnant women and maternity about post partum hemorrhaget minimize the case and handle it as easrly as possible.
Dian Zuiatna ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/215 Fri, 02 Feb 2024 11:13:54 +0000 The Effect of Cardamom Aromatherapy on the Frequency of Nausea and Vomiting in First Trimester Pregnant Women at the Wondiboi Community Health Center https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/272
Management of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy consists of pharmacological and non-pharmacological. The type of research is quasi experimental research, namely research that tests interventions on a group of subjects, with a research design using a one group pre test-post test design. The results of the study showed that the mean value of the frequency of nausea and vomiting in respondents showed a decrease, which means that based on the score value on the PUQE 24 questionnaire, there was a decrease in the frequency of nausea and vomiting in respondents, where based on the mean value of the frequency of nausea and vomiting before being given intervention, the average respondent had a frequency of nausea and vomiting at a moderate level. However, after being given the intervention, the respondent's frequency of nausea and vomiting decreased to the level of mild nausea and vomiting. Conclusion: Cardamom aromatherapy has an effect on the frequency of nausea and vomiting of pregnant women at the Wondiboi Community Health Center.
Suartini Suartini ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/272 Fri, 02 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 A Incidence Of Neonatoric Asphicia In Pregnant Women With Severe Pre-Eclamsia Based On Age Classification https://poltekkes-sorong.e-journal.id/JKS/article/view/249
One of the factors that causes pre-eclamsia is age < 20 and ≥ 35 years.
